I had a fantastic experience aboard the Alsuraya liveaboard and would definitely recommend it. From start to finish, the crew were professional, attentive, and consistently provided excellent service. Everything was well organized, and the team was always helpful and friendly. A special mention has to go to the chef, who was absolutely spectacular throughout the entire trip. Every meal was delicious, varied, and clearly prepared with a lot of care. The diving equipment was also very good, including a convenient Nitrox refill service. The Zodiacs were in excellent condition and made getting to and from the dive sites smooth and comfortable. We didn’t encounter as many pelagics as we had hoped for, but the coral reefs were in really beautiful condition. We travelled in August, when the water was extremely warm, and the corals were definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Alsuraya. It was a very well-run liveaboard with a great crew, excellent food, good equipment, and a very enjoyable diving experience. I’m already planning to come back during the colder months, when hopefully the chances of encountering more sharks and other pelagics will be higher.

Al Suraya was my first liveaboard experience, and it was a lovely one. I would definitely come back! My boyfriend and I booked the BDE tour in September, and we were not disappointed. The diving was amazing, the reefs were incredibly healthy, and there were so many fish, both big and small. The dive guides did an amazing job as well. We always felt safe, both above and below the water. The boat is modern, very well maintained, and in great condition. It was clear that safety is a big priority for the team, which made us feel very comfortable throughout the trip. The crew did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And the food was exceptionally good! Every day, we had a great variety of different dishes to choose from, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality. All in all, it was an amazing experience, and I would happily come back. I would definitely recommend Al Suraya to anyone looking for a great liveaboard experience in the Red Sea!

The trip with Alsuraya was amazing! From cruise director Ahmed, dive guides Mostafa and Borio, to chef Mohammed and all support staff, this crew was a well oiled machine that took great care of us. Outstanding food, perfectly clean rooms and wonderful diving, made this trip one not to forget. It was my partner’s first liveaboard and he is now spoiled!!! Thank you Alsuraya, we will be back!
