I did BDE last week on Alsuraya and it was amazing! I had already done a trip with Boody so I knew I was going to have top quality diving and briefings, good vibes and all, and him and the crew did not disappoint.
They are super professional but managed to keep a relaxed and familiar atmosphere on the boat even when the sea got a bit rougher.
From the first moment when we were picked up at the airport things went smoothly.
The boat is pretty new, everything feels very clean and modern, the dive deck comfortably sized, the rooms are spacious, enough space to hang out or read a book between the dives in a loungy area indoor or outdoor, or on the sun deck.
The first dinner and aalll following meals were sooooo good!! :) the kitchen was exceptional. Sometimes there was buffet and some days there was a set menu. There was special options for people with food intolerances and preferences as well. Taha quickly knew each one’s favorite coffee and drinks.
We were 20 guests, three groups, three wonderful guides Boody, Zizo, and Sefy, they were always attentive in the water and they were also super helpful out of the water and of good spirit.
The whole crew was super kind and helpful
with any concern, question, and request.
Our room was on the first deck, light, comfortable, everything was spotless and fresh. Everyday.
I am taking a lot of good memories from this trip from above and below the surface, surely will come back, and I can only recommend Alsuraya :)

Itinerary planning was very good. Team are experienced about dive spots.
Clean and comfortable cabin.
The food was the best I have ever had on a liveaboard – compliments to the chef! The whole crew was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
Thank you all for making this an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this liveaboard to anyone looking for a fantastic diving trip.

I had a great trip on Al Suraya. The office staff were really helpful and informative before the trip, which made everything easy to plan.
Onboard, Boody did a wonderful job as cruise director. The briefings were clear, and the trip felt very organized from start to finish. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable the whole time.
Chef Mohamed was also amazing. Some of the best food I’ve had on a liveaboard, and every meal was delicious.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable trip with a great crew, and I would definitely recommend Al Suraya.

Our experience aboard Alsurya exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped on board, the entire crew made us feel like family. The boat was exceptionally well maintained, our cabin was spotless every day, and the level of service throughout the trip was outstanding.
The food deserves special recognition. It was genuinely restaurant-quality and comparable to what you would expect from a five-star restaurant. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The crew worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Whether it was cabin cleanliness, helping divers prepare for dives, or simply making sure everyone was comfortable, they consistently went above and beyond. Their hospitality made the boat feel like a home away from home.
The dive guides were phenomenal and played a huge role in making this trip so memorable. Their dive briefings were clear, professional, and informative, and they always prioritized safety while making every dive enjoyable.
A special thank you goes to Zizo, who was an incredible dive guide and instructor. He was patient, knowledgeable, and always focused on making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. He took the time to help me develop new skills, pointed out amazing marine life that I would have otherwise missed, and made sure we had opportunities to take photos and videos without feeling rushed. He regularly checked in on everyone in the group and genuinely cared about ensuring we had the best possible experience both in and out of the water. His passion for diving and marine life was evident on every dive.
It is rare to find a team that combines professionalism, hospitality, and passion so seamlessly. Alsurya truly feels like a home away from home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This was an unforgettable experience, and I would not hesitate to book with them again.

This was our first liveaboard experience, and we honestly cannot say enough good things about it.
The Alsuraya is a beautiful, modern boat with all the amenities you could need. Our cabin was comfortable, air-conditioned, and had plenty of storage space for a week onboard. The food was absolutely incredible—every meal exceeded our expectations, and there was always plenty of variety.
The entire crew was fantastic, and all three dive guides were knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. The dive briefings were detailed and clear, and every question we had was answered thoroughly.
A special thank you goes to our dive guide, Zizo. As relatively new divers with only around 20 dives before the trip, we were a little nervous about our first liveaboard. Zizo immediately made us feel comfortable, safe, and confident in the water. He was incredibly patient, took the time to answer all of our questions, and provided valuable guidance on skills such as SMB deployment. His positive attitude and enthusiasm were contagious—he was always encouraging us, celebrating our progress, and making every dive enjoyable.
By the end of the trip, we felt like better and more confident divers. The diving was incredible, but it was the people onboard who truly made this experience unforgettable.
We would not hesitate to recommend Alsuraya to anyone considering a Red Sea liveaboard, whether you're a seasoned diver or taking your first liveaboard adventure.
